Creating a unique event space downtown for the community is the goal of the Miners Alley Project. The Downtown Business Association received a grant through the City’s Supplemental Benefits Fund to improve and revitalize Miners Alley. This will be a special event space once all of the renovations and updates are finished. Work has begun with the installation of new gooseneck lighting to improve safety and the look of the Alley. Over the next few months, we’ll also be painting, hanging artwork, and installing additional Miners Alley Arches. This Alley is the heart of our downtown and we’re excited to see these improvements.
A big thank you to building owners who have been generous in allowing the project to tie into their power. Luckily the lights are all led and only on when it’s dark.
